PP and PVC Duct Fittings for Laboratory Exhaust Connections Duct fittings connect equipment, redirect airflow, divide or combine branches, and transition between duct sizes or geometries. The PP/PVC ventilation duct fittings range is configured for compatible laboratory exhaust systems. Each fitting should be scheduled from the actual duct layout because geometry, material, connection, and fabrication affect pressure loss, installation space, and serviceability.

Specify Every Change in Direction or Section Provide the fitting type, inlet and outlet dimensions, round or rectangular geometry, centerline radius, branch angle, transition length, flange or socket details, mating equipment, and orientation. Identify elbows, tees, wyes, reducers, offsets, end connections, equipment adapters, and custom transitions on the coordinated drawing rather than relying on a generic fitting count.

Include Fittings in the System Calculation The ventilation design should account for fitting resistance together with straight duct, dampers, treatment equipment, fan connections, and discharge components. Abrupt changes can increase pressure loss and disturb airflow measurement. Where liquids or condensate may be present, the layout should also address slope, low points, drainage, cleanout access, and material compatibility.

Coordinate fittings with Ventilation Ducts and the selected laboratory air dampers. Submit the complete route, airflow schedule, pressure basis, air-stream chemistry, temperature, material, dimensions, connection standard, support details, quantities, and destination. Final fitting dimensions should be released from approved fabrication drawings, including the interfaces to fume hoods, scrubbers, fans, stacks, and other project equipment.
